Programme

Cliff Villages U3A has a regular programme of monthly meetings where, apart from the usual group business, there is a guest speaker. As can be seen from the programme listing below the subjects are wide ranging and almost always extremely interesting.

The meetings are held in the village hall at Harmston and start at 10.30 a.m. Prior to the meetings coffee, tea and biscuits are served and there is the opportunity to view various displays by the special interest groups and sign up for the various activities that they organise

2007 Programme

2007

14th
December
Christmas Party A short business meeting followed by an absolute hoot of a variety show when we saw the other side of some of our most 'respected' members. The Group Co-ordinator's observations on the subject of 'loos' was most enlightening and the Chairman as a turkey was something else! A most enjoyable morning.

January
Ken James My Life as a Lincolnshire Echo Photographer.
Unfortunately, due to illness, Ken could not do his talk and at very short notice (like 24 hours) Peter Overton stepped in and talked about his conservation work in the more remote parts of Namibia. A very enjoyable talk and some wonderful wild life photographs.
