The bird watchers meet at 10.30am on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
There are usually 6 or 7 members present .
Meetings usually involve visits to reserves run by RSPB, Wildlife Trusts and similar organisations in Lincolnshire and surrounding counties.
One variation has has been a vist to a farm producing bird seed we use to feed our garden birds.

This last year we have seen a wide range of birds from magnificent gannets to rarities such as bitterns and ospreys plus lots of common species

Why not come and join us. You don't need a vast knowledge of birds, just an interest, own a pair of binoculars, be a member of a U3A and a bird book might just come in handy
